A brighter smile that still looks like yours.
Professional whitening lifts years of staining safely, with a result that still looks like your own smile.
Take-home or in-clinic
Most patients choose take-home trays: they give an even, natural result and cost less. If you need a brighter smile quickly, for a wedding or an event, we can add a one-hour in-clinic session to speed things up.
Is it safe?
Whitening planned by a dentist is safe for healthy teeth and gums. Some people feel short-lived sensitivity, which we manage with a gentler gel or shorter wear times.
How long it lasts
Results last one to three years, depending on what you eat and drink. Keep your trays and top up with a little gel when you feel your shade has dropped.
Fillings, crowns and veneers do not change colour, so we plan around any visible restorations.
How it works, step by step.
- 01
Assess
A quick check that your teeth and gums are healthy enough to whiten safely.
- 02
Scan
A digital scan so we can make thin, comfortable trays that fit only you.
- 03
Whiten
You wear the trays at home for an hour a day, with a gel matched to your sensitivity.
- 04
Review
We compare your shade after two weeks and give you top-up gel for later.
Common questions
Will whitening make my teeth sensitive?
Some people feel mild sensitivity for a few days. We use a lower-strength gel if you are prone to it.
Does whitening work on crowns or fillings?
No. Whitening only lightens natural enamel, so we plan around any existing crowns or fillings.
How do I keep the results?
Rinse after coffee, tea or red wine, keep up your hygiene visits and use your top-up gel once or twice a year.
